Snorkel Masks: CPSC March 5 said to stop using Ouspt full-face units that can cause labored breathing. Seller Field Life of China has been unresponsive. Some 84,000 sold on Amazon in Mar 2019-Feb 2026 for and unspecified price.
Flameless Candles: CPSC March 5 said to stop using Jolnyus units with accessible coin batteries in remotes plus missing warnings. Seller Jiandeshi Junjun Jiaju Yongpin Youxian Gongsi (dba Jolnyus) of China has not agreed to a recall. An unspecified number sold on Amazon in Mar 2024-Sep 2025 for $20.
Toy Figures: CPSC March 5 said to stop using Top Magnets Magnetic Men stick figures with strong magnets that can detach. Seller Hefei Ao Ze Trading (dba Top Magnets) of China has not been responsive. About 7,723 sold on Amazon in Jun 2024-Oct 2025 for $9.
Epinephrine: CPSC February 20 posted (bit.ly/3MZgSIS) that it received a petition for a PPPA exemption. PSL does not know details yet as the petition itself was not included, and CPSC said a FoIA request would be needed. But the petition involves the brand-name Anaphylm, made by Aquestive Therapeutics. It is an under-the-tongue alternative to auto-injector application.
EC SCCS: Applications are due May 31 for a five-year term, starting January 2027 on the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS). Details are at bit.ly/3OQw7Eu. Preferences are for expertise in risk assessment/ characterization, hazard assessment, or exposure assessment – preferably more than one.
Brain Stimulators: The EC got five responses to its December inquiry (PSL, 12/8/25). A resulting final opinion is targeted for June from the Scientific Committee on Health, Environmental and Emerging Risks.
