ProSafe Calls for Labs to Aid in Barriers Project

ProSafe is seeking tenders from test labs by March 18 to aid in its upcoming market assessment involving safety barriers. These are baby gates and similar household products to control children's movement – it will include playpens designed for children up to 15 kg (33lbs). The project is set to run a bit longer than two years: May 2015 to June 2017. The test phase would occur from June to September 2016.

Work would involve four services:

• Testing about 95 samples with potential opportunity for additional testing work for member states.

 

• Providing at least one test report per sample.

 

• Participating in meetings to explain methods and results.

 

• Hosting a two-day project meeting at testing conclusion.
