CPSC Teams with Australia/Canada for China/Vietnam Training

CPSC in September will conduct industry training seminars in China and Vietnam with its Australian and Canadian counterparts. Two events in China will include the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) and will target apparel, electronics/electrical products, and toys.

The one-day events are free and are with the aid of the American Chamber of Commerce. The first is in Ningbo September 20, and registration information is at bit.ly/2bqwWxt. The second is September 22 in Guangzhou, and registration information is at bit.ly/2bkL0vb.

Then, CPSC will pair with Health Canada for an event in Ho Chi Minh City September 27. It will focus on apparel, furniture, and toys. Registration is at bit.ly/2bDH7lz. It also is with the aid of the American Chamber of Commerce.

Target audiences are product buyers. A CPSC announcement notes that product areas involve use with/by children or areas with histories of violations. The agency notes that other potential attendees are firms that handle sourcing for large retailers and those that have their own export businesses.
