CPSC Plans 'Buyers Training' in March for Asian Stakeholders

CPSC is planning three Asian "Buyers Training" events in March. They will be Shanghai, China (March 13), Guangzhou, China (March 15), Ho Chi Minh City (March 20). The session will be free. Registration closes February 28.

Speakers will include CPSCers as well as representatives of the European Commission (in China), the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (in Vietnam), Retail Industry Leaders Association, Toy Association, and perhaps others. Attendees will be able to access simultaneous translation.

Focus will be toys, electronics, furniture and textiles/apparels. Lear more via BuyersTraining2018@cpsc.gov.

The agency has sent prospective attendees an invitation letter from CPSC Acting Chairman Ann Marie Buerkle. She writes, "These trainings are truly exceptional opportunities to learn about the consumer safety information to enter several major markets. The trainings will be packed with information that can make a concrete and impactful difference to consumers and companies."
