Cribs: August 15 is the effective date for updates to 16 CFR 1120 and 1121 based on revisions in ASTM F2933-21. CPSC did add requirements involving too-soft mattresses, coil lacerations, and other concerns. Commissioners passed the rule 4-0 (PSL, 1/31/22). See the Federal Register notice (bit.ly/3I13Fr1).

Federal Telework: A February 8 report by the Government Accountability Office found that significant increases during the pandemic mean that more data are needed for the Office of Personnel Management and agencies to assess effects on issues like work-from-home policies, payroll, office space needs, and more.
